Our HHC primary areas of research include:- The relationship of "Health to Health Services" with a goal of producing research findings that will help health benefits sponsors achieve better value for their investments in health benefits.
- The opportunity costs of current expenditures on health benefits, including resources to provide "a day's pay for a day's work."
- The relationship of sick leave and disability benefits to employee productivity, including the optimal design of those health benefits.
- The current health insurance model to explore opportunities for more competition and efficiency in the health services marketplace, including the current models of cost sharing and coverage for preventive, cognitive, and prescription drug services, technical diagnostic and therapeutic services, and institutional care.
